This variety of Feijoa has medium sized oval fruit with a rough skin. Inside the flesh is smooth and full of flavour. The fruit ripens around April. Plant in a sunny well drained spot with another Feijoa for company. The fruit will naturally drop when ready. Evergreen.

This fruiting fig is highly ornamental as well as productive. Large glossy green foliage and a vigorous growth habit with large fruit that are purplish brown with pink flesh and a rich flavour. Ripe in Jan - Feb. A favourite fig for jam and preserving. Likes the sun and protection from harsh frost. Deciduous.

Ventura fig has a compact growth form and produces large fruit with green skin and dark red interior flesh. The fruit have a pronounced long neck, ripen later in the season and perform well in the cooler climates of the figs' range. Ventura is grown both for drying and for fresh eating.
